These mounting plates allow the use of different supercharger with the X-10 gear drive. Note, when switching from one supercharger to another, the use of different height standoffs (included) is required.
Also note that input shaft sizes vary between small (F-1, F-2) and large (F-3, F-4) units so a new supercharger drive hub may also be needed to complete a supercharger swap.
